KAIN THE POETKain emerged on the New York scene in the late 60s. He is widely cited as a primary influence on the development of modern spoken word culture, which later spawned rap. In 1970 he released the seminal 'Blue Guerilla' album, which set the benchmark for things to come. Inspired recording artists have heavily sampled his work, most notably The Prodigy on their 90s classic 'Voodoo People'. Currently working in various musical formations, he continues to tell it like it is, with no apologies.
