Producer and multi-instrumentalist Ben Marc, emerged as a key figure of London’s cutting edge jazz scene. His 2022 debut album 'Glass Effect' unifies a multitudinous profusion of influences, free-jazz, broken beat, hip-hop, electronica and beyond. 
On double and electric bass Ben Marc (aka Neil Charles) flits between jazz, classical, and electronic music, whether playing on Greenwood’s award-winning score for the film The Master or touring with Astatke, as well as working with the likes of Afrofuturists Sun Ra Arkestra, grime legend Dizzee Rascal, Jose James, Shabaka Hutchings, Matthew Herbert, Charles Mingus, China Moses, Soweto Kinch and more.
